I adore this dress!!! It is such an easy and simple piece that you can accessorize, dress it up or even pair it with something as casual as a pair of chucks! When it comes to styling simple pieces like this are amazing because you can do pretty much anything and transform the look every time.

These sporty loose fitting trousers will be my go to bottoms whenever the wind breeze is strong enough to put pants on. The feel and look so easy making them very versatile! I love that they can be dressed up and down, worn with flat shoes and heels. They are the perfect style next to a nice pair of denim.

This outfit isnt really my everyday style but once I threw this on I felt complete. For some reason it felt perfect for a nice spring day, its super comfortable, kinda casual yet still chic. I was really loving the denim paired with the shorts, im a sucker for pink on blue!

To me this whole ensemble screams dainty 70s house wife, from the hair to the color combination, as well as the print and silhouette of the skirt. Though I feel dressed up this outfit is completely effortless, the skirt does all the talking. The skirt alone makes a statement and allows me to simply accessorize around it!

Its mothers day and though we didnt get to see our mom she was definitely on our mind and near in our heart. We did however get to see our grandma and spend a little time with other family! But we hope all you mommy's out there had a good day.

Hump Day

I have been beyond excited to introduce to you my new self proclaimed title, Turban Queen (very original, right?) Not really, but whatever, the point is I will be turban-tastic SP SU 2013, and probably years and years to come. How have I missed out on the beautiful wanders of little piece of fabric called a scarf? I've been pondering on that for some time but it doesn't matter... I will not miss one more waking second. They are perfect; bad hair, deep conditioning, waiting for a twist/braid out to dry, even just for fun! Throw a turban on and you are out the door. It adds just the right touch to an outfit and a new play up on accessorizing, ugh.. I'm so in love. I am buying more scarfs as we speak... I write :)

Usually I don't include casual in my ensembles, I just go all out. If I could live in a pair of strappy high heels and high waisted pants or a nicely fitted dress.. I'd be in wardrobe heaven. However unfortunately, my life doesn't cause for that dress code lol. Everyone has to have their down days, but they don't all have to be wasted on bumming, do they? Of course not! A grunge t-shirt, cut off shorts, sweatshirts etc. can be elevated with nice pair of heels, cutesy skirt, layering a dress and many other options. Dressy wasn't only designed for dressy, causal has an open invitation to come join my closets party. So mix those bad boys together and make casual look effortless and fun.. My dabbling in the casual world has only just begun.

Last day we spent in the beautiful city of San Antonio we of course went shopping and out to dinner with our family. We ended up in La Contera, this awesome outdoor mall. The had so many great stores little 'ol Indiana is lacking; Free People, American Apparel, Zara where we picked up the same pairs of heels, and so many other stores. Great vaca but its back to reality for now. Happy hump day my friends. Spring is here....

Its vacation time! We are on vaca for the week (so excited) to visit our family out in San Antonio. Mainly for our little brothers birthday, he's turning 16 which is crazy because he has always been a baby to us. But we couldn't have gone on vacation at a better time, its snowing back in Indy in the middle of march and sunshine and clear sky's here! So for the next couple of days we will be sharing our sunny spring attire with you guys while we can!

Today Dani and I really showed our true colors. It's insane how we walk into a store and race to the racks to be the first to pick something up because we know we'll love the same things, yet, we wear them so differently. These fits show off our different styles perfectly; Danielle being so girly/feminine and put together and me so toned down and a little rugged. We are absolutely on opposite ends of the style spectrum. Anywho..... Happy Monday
