Floral print and lace on racer shorts is feminine edge perfection, there is something a little sexy about them. These are the types of pieces I'm looking for this summer.

Its vacation time! We are on vaca for the week (so excited) to visit our family out in San Antonio. Mainly for our little brothers birthday, he's turning 16 which is crazy because he has always been a baby to us. But we couldn't have gone on vacation at a better time, its snowing back in Indy in the middle of march and sunshine and clear sky's here! So for the next couple of days we will be sharing our sunny spring attire with you guys while we can!

Today Dani and I really showed our true colors. It's insane how we walk into a store and race to the racks to be the first to pick something up because we know we'll love the same things, yet, we wear them so differently. These fits show off our different styles perfectly; Danielle being so girly/feminine and put together and me so toned down and a little rugged. We are absolutely on opposite ends of the style spectrum. Anywho..... Happy Monday

Awaiting Spring

Its a return of the jacket except this time Brooklynn is rocking her's. This jacket is a real throwback that our dad had made for both of us while he was in the Philippines when we were as young as 3 (brook) and 5 (Danielle). As you can imagine we could not even wear them until we were about 9. More then 10 years later we stole them from our parents house to sport now as a cropped track jacket... and clearly we cannot wear them enough

This faux leather jacket was a great find at my job, it was a bit pricey when we first got it in but once it went on sale from $79.50 to $12.99 i had to snag it. It's so soft and is a classic piece I will keep in my closet for a while. We have in the same jacket in bright blue that will be prefect for the spring so I will soon be adding that to my collection as well.

Now enough with these dull colors, spring come on already!

I would normally sum my style up as sophisticated grunge.. However, today I had a funky vibe and ran with it! My curly fro inspired me a bit along with the geometric print top. I felt all Solange-esk (Knowles) *siiiiigggggh* words cannot describe the life she gives me with her big curly wild hair, bold prints, feminine silhouettes, and that fresh stunning face. Gosh she is pure perfection! I aspire to be like her this summer, so free and centered... We'll see how this goes :) I hope all is well
